A few weeks ago, I had the distinct pleasure of being a sponsor at the   Anita Borg Institute’s 2010 Women of Vision Award. What a fantastic   night it was!  More than 800 people attended to celebrate the   achievements of these phenomenal women. I was honored to share the   evening with my fellow women leaders and visionaries.  I was in awe of   the many accomplished women technologists from such diverse displines   who attended.  I was most impressed by the award recipients and the   event was a major success.  What perhaps thrilled me the most was   sharing the experience with the five lovely men who I was honored to   have as guests at my table. None of them had ever been to an event   where they were surrounded by so many highly accomplished women,   technologists and leaders.  I firmly believe their experience will   impact their perceptions about women for the rest of their lives. I   hope they will share their experience with their daughters and teach   them that, if they put their mind to it, they can succeed at   ‘whatever’ their heart’s desire is.
